Resource Summary
Despite widespread recognition and evidence demonstrating the value of women’s centres, women’s services are consistently underfunded. This leads to inadequate, inequitable, and precarious levels of provision and a significant risk of services being suspended or closed. This paper explores why investing in women’s services is so critical, and how sustainable funding would enable women’s centres to support more women and deliver wider socio-economic benefits.
