Resource Summary
The Centre for Justice Innovation, Staffordshire University and Expert Citizens have received funding from The JABBS Foundation and the Office of the West Midlands Police and Crime Commissioner to explore the current landscape of drug and alcohol treatment for women in the West Midlands.
We undertook a literature, policy and data review and conducted interviews with specialist women’s practitioners and with women with lived experience who were currently accessing services. We hope that this research will offer insights to policy makers and commissioners nationwide.
