Resource Summary
The research looked at the needs, adverse life events, vulnerabilities and strengths for women as identified through the Women’s Risk Needs Assessment (WRNA) tool, and the relationships between them. It found that many of the needs identified in the WRNA affect one another and that as the severity of needs increases, so do the number of connections between them. The findings from this research demonstrate a cascade effect where one need or experience triggers or worsens others, leaving them highly inter-related.
