Vital funding that will reinforce the NWJC's operational capacity in 2024
We are delighted to have been awarded grant funding from Barrow Cadbury Trust, from April 2024, to support the salary costs of the NWJC Development Manager.
“The pivotal role of a dedicated Development Manager has been instrumental in propelling the NWJC toward substantial achievements in line with its strategic objectives” – direct quote from NWJC Partner
The Development Manager has been critical to supporting the establishment of the coalition, embedding our governance structure and decision-making frameworks and fostering the expansion of our membership group. The Development Manager is also responsible for overseeing the coalition’s working groups, leading on funding applications, project managing the Women’s Services Map and convening the NWJC’s National Voice & Advisory Panel.
The Development Manager also acts as the main point of contact for partners and friends of the NWJC as well as key stakeholders from across the criminal justice and women’s sectors.
Funding from Barrow Cadbury Trust will help to reinforce the operational capacity of the coalition in the year ahead and help to provide us with a firm foundation from which to progress our strategic objectives and influencing work.
