The National Voice and Advisory Panel is recruiting!

The NWJC’s National Voice & Advisory Panel (NVAP) launched in February 2024 and includes six women with lived experience of the criminal justice system recruited from across multiple women’s organisations. NVAP members share a vision and a passion for driving systemic change to improve outcomes for other women and girls in contact with the criminal justice system.

The NVAP meets regularly to participate in meetings, workshops, discussion forums and focus groups, supported and facilitated by the NWJC’s Women’s Participation working group. Through these sessions, NVAP members can share their expert opinions and insight to shape and inform the NWJC’s strategic influencing, campaigning and messaging work.

In January 2025, we are aiming to recruit up to six new NVAP members and we are particularly looking for:

  • Women with previous experience of working with women’s organisations or participating in co-design and co-production work relating to social justice and women’s services.
  • Women who are confident communicators who can express their views clearly and independently.
  • Women with experience of attending meetings, involving multiple senior people, to represent a particular group or agenda.

To find out more, download our RECRUITMENT INFORMATION PACK that includes more details about the NWJC, the NVAP and full details on how to apply.

The deadline for applications is Friday January 31st, 2025.

We are grateful to The Goldsmiths Company for generously funding and supporting this work.
