Voices of experiencedrivers of change
The NWJC’s National Voice & Advisory Panel (NVAP) launched in February 2024 and includes women with lived experience of the criminal justice system, recruited from across multiple women’s organisations and parts of England and Wales.
NVAP members share a vision and passion for improving the experiences of women and girls in contact with the criminal justice system by influencing and informing the policies, practices and services that impact them.
The NVAP meets regularly to participate in meetings, workshops, consultations, discussion forums and focus groups, supported and facilitated by the NWJC’s Women’s Participation working group. Through these sessions, NVAP members can share their expert opinions and insight to shape and inform the NWJC’s strategic influencing, campaigning and messaging work.
We are grateful to The Goldsmiths Company for generously funding and supporting this work.
