We are proud to be partnering with the Centre for Crime and Justice Studies (CCJS) to deliver the next phase of Breaking out of the Justice Loop, supported by a £60,000 grant from The JABBS Foundation for Women and Girls.

This funding will enable CCJS to lead a year‑long programme of activity, working closely with the NWJC’s National Voice & Advisory Panel and advised by Liz Hogarth OBE and Naomi Delap (CEO, Birth Companions). Together, we will help shape national discourse on women’s justice ahead of the 20th anniversary of the seminal Corston Report in March 2027.

As we approach this milestone, the programme offers a vital opportunity to shift the narrative, confront the drivers of harm, and champion approaches that work — including prevention, early help, public health, and investment where it matters most.

This work will strengthen and amplify the leadership of our National Voice & Advisory Panel, bringing lived experience expertise to the forefront to evidence and advocate for the reforms women and girls deserve.
